Eyelash extensions are synthetic fibers that are attached to your natural eyelashes one by one with a medical-grade adhesive to give the appearance of longer, fuller and thicker eyelashes. The extensions come in different lengths, thicknesses, and curls, which can be customized to create a variety of looks.
What to Expect?
Eyelash extensions starts with cleansing the lash area thoroughly. Then your bottom lashes will be taped down. A pad will also be placed to protect your eyes. Then, a bonder is applied to your lashes. After a few minutes the therapist will begin applying your eyelash extensions by isolating one natural eyelash at a time by using tweezers to separate them to ensure that each extension is applied to a single natural lash. At no point will any chemicals or lashes touch your skin. This is repeated until all of your eyelashes are completed. They will then be left to completely dry. Once dried, the tape and pads will be removed and then you can open your eyes to reveal your new eyelash extensions.
Whats the difference between Classic, Hybrid and Volume Extensions?
Classic lashes
are the perfect way to enhance natural lashes. With the classic technique, one individual lash is applied to one natural lash to create a set of longer and thicker lashes. Depending on the desired look, there are a variety of curls, lengths, and thicknesses to choose from.
Hybrid Lashes
are a blend of two lash types - Classic lashes and Volume lashes. This technique offers a defined but full and fluffy set of lashes, a mixture between classic and volume lashes.
Volume lashes
are applied in a technique that uses more than one lash to create a personalised fan. Using soft, ultra-lightweight lashes, these fans are created and then applied onto an individual lash to create a multi-lash voluminous effect. Unlike classic lashes, where one singular extension is applied to a natural lash, Volume lashes aim to give a fluffier lash style.
